Testimonials

When choosing to work with a teacher, it is vitally important that you know whether or not they are committed to your success and whether or not their student have seen positive results. The only way to learn about whether or not your teacher has developed a successful teaching method is to speak with current and former students who have successfully achieved their goals through lessons.

Below, you can find a number of guitar and voice testimonials from students just like you. See below why you should take lessons with Boston Voice And Guitar Lessons.

Voice

The improvement in my voice have been tremendous and very quick actually. My range has improved and I feel like the overall quality has improved. It’s got more a depth to it now which I like. I started taking lessons because singing was a hobby of mine that I wanted to get back into…Now that I can hear my voice improving I am becoming a lot more ambitious and I’m starting to audition for bands which is really fun.I’m really grateful to Lauren for helping me do this. It’s great. My life is becoming pretty cool.

I have wanted to take voice lesson for a few years now, but I never clicked with the teacher that I met. Until I met Lauren that is! It was great that I met her when I did because I had signed up to audition for X Factor and really needed some vocal help.

There was an instant connection between us and there was no hesitation in getting straight to work. She never gave me an opportunity to be nervous of shy as we started singing right away. She put me completely at ease and from the first lesson I heard an improvement in my voice. Thanks to Lauren, I got a gold ticket from X Factor and made it until the last round!I would highly recommend Lauren as a voice teacher. She is great ad cool and very chill and the CD’s that we get back of our lesson are great

I like how Lauren could diagnose a problem in the sound and immediately give me and exercise to work on that and to explain what it’s feeling like but then also explain what it shouldn’t be feeling like….Lauren really cares about her students and their development….Most teachers that I have worked with never cared about the performance aspect and applying some of the things I’m learning.

Thank you so much. You’ve totally givenKarenthe bug witthe Coffeehouse. You ou are an absolute huge influence on her. I can’t thank you enough. We look forward to another year of lessons with you….We are so proud of her & we absolutely love you as a teacher. You’ve kept her motivated. I don’t think she would have stuck with it if she had any other teacher.

Karen’s Mom, Guitar Student

My daughter began taking both singing and guitar lesson two years ago and is making incredible progress. Soon after my daughter, I decided to “go for it” and try lessons myself. I looked for another teacher not wanting to ‘cloud the line’ between my daughter’s goal to be a professional and mine to just have fun with it. The other teacher was competent, but I felt I was lacking something in my strumming on the guitar.
After a couple of years, I saw how well my daughter was playing in proportion to me. I decided to ask Lauren, to teach me to play guitar. After a few lessons, I was thrilled at how specific the lessons are and how competent I felt and still feel when I follow her thorough, yet easy steps to learning a song. I have learned different strumming patterns, proper hand placement and so much more. Though I may not be Keith Richards or Jimi Hendrix, I am reliving my youth when I practice guitar and feel successful at it now.

I’m a 53 year old lawyer with three teenagers. I started taking lessons with Lauren last year and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. I have no music background and no natural talent, but I love musical look forward to my weekly lessons because it’s a total change from the rest of my life. Her approach is steady and gauged towards results.. After a year, I’mplaying the Stones, Eagles and Buffet with enough skill to earn compliments from my wife and kids, difficult critics to say the least.
